Vision & Mission

Thrive City Church is a life-giving, relational church located in Central New York. Our vision is to see our city transformed as people come to experience a thriving life with Jesus. Our mission is to make room for people to meet God.

  • God wants to know us personally. More than just practicing religion, He wants a relationship with us. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you’re new to faith, have questions, or have been a Christ-follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.

  • We want to help people know God. We believe the best way to do this is to equip people to better understand scripture and to better understand following Jesus. We do this through our Alpha Course, Groups and Growth Track.

  • God’s plan for us is to reach our neighbors and our city. Through serving on a team, outreach initiatives and partnering with local mission organizations, we aim to equip and inspire our church to reach our city.

Beliefs

Although our approach is modern, what we believe is rooted in Scripture. Our methods may change, but these are the foundational beliefs we’ll always hold on to as a church.

Families

We want your kids to love church! That’s why from birth to high school, we create a safe and fun environment where we can point your child to Jesus, love them well, develop them as leaders, and instill in them a love for the Church.
